Swift Cover home insurance

Can anyone give me some general feedback on using Swift Cover for home and contents insurance?

Im currenty with Payment Shield and the quote they gave me, from RSA, is considerably higher than one I found from Swift Cover when I searched on comparison websites.

I called Paymentshield back and told them about the big price difference. The guy I spoke to said he'd checked Swift on defaqto and went on to point out where they fell short in some scenaros when you make a claim.

I must admit I don't recall exactly what he said about Swift on defaqto, and my natural reaction was that he was trying to talk me out of cancelling the agreement I'd made with RSA for my home insurance.

I'd appreciate if anyone can give me some feedback on Swift, and some advice how best to use defaqto. I've had a quick look and for me at least, the web site's not too easy on the eye.

They are at the very bottom end of the market, I would avoid them.

Do a search of the forum or even google "Swiftcover" for lots of stories

Even you know that people only come online to moan and never to praise... You could do that about any company and see pages and pages of negative reviews.

Swiftcover aren't the best but far from the worst.. You get what you pay for in Insurance unfortunately and 'cheapest' isn't always the 'best'.

Why on earth would you accuse Jade Trimbee who is a senior marketing executive for Axa and Swiftcover of spamming ?
