Working tax credit help please.

I am a single mum and I work part time doing 20 hours a week I have been reading all this new tax credit stuff but can't really understand it! Am I still gonna get working tax or do I need to up my hours?

No, the 24 hours only applies to couples with children (who don't meet one of the exceptions). You will still qualify at 16 hours a week.
