Would that be the same primary link that is at the bottom of the main post in white text?

    The very same :-)
No offence meant but I had not seen the hidden link.
    Why hide it though?
Surely by having in the open it gives us all an option to slightly hide our origin or am I missing the way it works?

Eg on such as here: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/2782888
Just a different way & maybe not perfect :-)

I imagine you'd have to disable the referrer in your web browser if you wanted to hide that you've come from mse or copy the entry link into a different browser but I doubt it's worth the effort.

Cheers for the reply.Wouldn't just "dragging" the primary link to a new tab & working from that hide the origin?
Maybe I have missed a few tricks but I'm open to help on this.

I'll still ask the question though. Why hide the primary link in "white text"?

The extra link isn't needed - I still put it in as a courtesy for the purposes of it being searchable and the competition was still reposted by someone else.

Hi,I think it's time for me to move a way from this.
I've clearly stated why I feel both links should be openly posted.
It is clear that you do not feel the same but hey-ho.
We all post in our own way but I just prefer to give the membership the option eg
    here
    here

I very much welcome your input to MSE & long may it continue :-)

ETA: It was probably duped because a search was done via the full URL that was posted in the dupe ie.....Here

    Just a guess :-)
