Help..wren kitchen order placed advice needed please
I have placed an order for a WREN kitchen and paid a deposit of over £2000, wren contract states that the full amount has to be settled 28 days before the kitchen is fitted, any advice after now reading so many negative posts I am seriously worried as i have saved up for so long for my first new kitchen. Do i have to pay the final outstanding amount over £8000 before the kitchen arrives and if i refuse will they keep my £2000 deposit and not deliver and fit the new kitchen? I am not sure what i should do, the kitchen order was placed about 4 weeks ago and the fitting is in August. The Fitter was recommended by Wren and thought it best to stick with someone who knows the product. Advice really appreciated.

You should probably have started a new thread, but given the OP of the thread you hijacked appears to have been given her deposit back then it wouldn't be unreasonable to guess you might too.

If the Terms and Conditions say that the full balance is required before fitting then you have to do that if you want the kitchen. I do not believe they are allowed to just arbitrarily keep your whole deposit if you cancel, but they are allowed to make deductions for their reasonable losses. So the key question is, what have they done in the last 4 weeks? If the answer is not much then you should get most or all of the deposit back, but if they have made your bespoke kitchen ready for installation you may be out of luck.

Do what the OP did and give them a call.
