Hi,
I've been reading that business mobile phone contracts can be more competitive than personal contracts for multiple users - does anyone have any experience of this? Am currently with o2.
Thanks.

Maybe, but it'll be marginal. You may find things like calls within the single contract (ie 5 phones on O2, free/cheap calls between them) may be advantageous, but each time I've looked into it, the deals are pretty much the same.0

If you are a vat paying business then it could be more attractive, thats all I could make out last time orange tried to sell me a package.0

They are. I have a business contract for personal use from Vodafone as it offered the most at the lowest price plus two months free plus they bought my old phone for a lot more than I could have sold it elsewhere for. I went in to a branch. They are the only company where their sales staff seem to be able to offer deals that aren't "on display" and can throw in freebies.0

Interesting. I must confess to being baffled by all the tariffs and offers - because we're in contract with o2 for the personal accounts, we're tied in there. I looked at a tariff for a single user on the business account with the latest iPhone free and it was £30.00 p/m (excl. VAT) for 24 months, which seemed to be a good deal...But then, there are a few other users who would be migrating, so the tariff would have to be for multiple users who don't require a phone - the existing users can't switch yet due to being in contract on their personal a/cs. Had a live chat with o2 to find out if it would be worth starting with a single user first and then the others joining when they can - emerged from live chat more confused than when I started....0 -

I really wouldn't recommend o2 to anyone anymore. I've not once regretted switching to Vodafone. If you go into a Vodafone store you should be able to go through your requirements. I also wouldn't recommend an Iphone either. Samsung phones are much better and much cheaper, but that isn't business related :-)0 -
From my experience, it depends on the number of users. If you've got ones and twos on business contracts, on paper they look quite similar cost wise, although generally the customer service you receive should be better as most networks have dedicated support. With more users, the sharer tariffs can have a lot of benefits, for example calls between them would be free, on some all landline calls and texts are free as well. At the moment, T-Mobile are very competitive, particularly on smaller connection numbers.0
