Bullying Banks-Update

Hello-small victory, as my OH seemed beaten down by all this I decided to complain to the Halifax on his behalf, as I wasn;t their customer I wasn't really expecting very much.
I had a phone call from a lady in customer services the next day, she took his details, called him back today and agrees that having looked into his account details he was treated very badly and they have agreed to write off the remaining overdraft £1170.00, solicitors action ceased.
I mean really its a drop in the ocean of what we have lost but the fact that someone has said sorry and admitted that we didn't do anything wrong makes me feel like I have won the lotto.
As for the Nat West they have ceased all action of closing our accounts and agreed to extend OH's business account overdraft for 3 months.

I got a letter at the weekend from my "Helpful bank" the Nat West telling me they no longer wanted to offer me banking facilities, this came as a shock to me as the letter was addressed just to me but is a joint account and that account is always in credit, never been over drawn, couldn't get to speak to anyone that could tell me why this was happening all weekend ,very worrying
Finally on Monday I manage to speak to the so called specialised relationship manager who informs me I need to speak to the joint account holder and she can tell me nothing???Why send a letter saying contact me to discuss if you won't discuss it! turns out it is to do with my OH's business bank, which I am not even named on!What a waste of time.
Also bulling Halifax my OH paid £1000 of his overdraft with them to avoid charges, so they reduce his overdraft and still charge him, when he has complained they close down his account and demand repayment in full.
In response to Fluffernutters" is he just a bad customer" comment
I said I am not named on his business account.
And no he is not a bad customer, in the past he has had alot of money going through both of these banks and that was fine with them, they were sending people to the house to look after him and his finances.
He has fallen on hard times as he is self employed and a company he worked for went under on him, owing him and others alot of money, he has had no payment from them,as in the scheme of things he is small fry.I bet the bosses of George Harding the company that went under on him don't get treated like that by their banks
He still had people to pay and has paid off nearly all of the debt that left him with and continues to do so, we have no savings and a very high mortgage now but he is still trading, which is more fortunate than a lot of people and something I am very proud of him for doing.
I am saying both of these banks claim to be helpful when actually they are not.
So no he really isn't a bad customer.
Think I would rather keep my money under my bed than deal with these rude, bullying people anymore!
