    hmm... bloody confusing.
i have secured an interview for a job with a 20hour contract. that may solve the problem if i get it!
currently my employer has capped overtime to 20 hours, but of course this changes as and when they want. ie, when there is a sale coming up (i work in Clothes retail), everyone has to be able to work up to 37hours a week for 2 weeks, then overtime is cut again imeadiately after sale.
i would just like a stable amount of hours each week, and decent holiday pay. too much to ask?? maybe!!!!

If you want to do something, you will find a way.
If you don't, then you will find an excuse...
