First Utility - My Experience - Yours?
Joined FU at end of Feb.
Cheapest deal, according to USwitch, compared to my old Eon one.
However, beginning to have doubts about FU.
First - i can never get hold of their Cust Servs dept by phone - keep calling, waiting 10 mins and then give up.
Second - first full month bill came in the other day - as we were out of the country until 13th March (from 1st March) i was expecting a cheapie - i only left water and CH to come on for an hour in morning and one hour in eve, to keep it all ticking over.
But the bill is £90 - same as my last DD with Eon (where i was on a fixed rate deal).
Plus a week after we returned to the UK the warm spell arrived and i switched the CH off for the last week of March!
I'm feeling a bit miffed to be honest. Trouble is i can't get hold of FU to talk through.
Already thinking of switching back to one of the 'majors'.
Any thoughts/similar experiences with FU?

If you do a search you will find threads with loads of customers just as frustrated as yourself.0

I have been meaning to research a switch for some time, but like many people I never got round to it yet *shame*
SO, when FU came-a-calling I was an ideal customer - however, as soon as the chap left a simple search chucked up loads of dissatisfied customers (even taking into account some obviously planted 'reviews') so I've immediately taken advantage of the 14 day cancellation, and I got confirmation of that pretty quickly
Not much help to you I know - I hope you can sort it out - but a lesson to me to do some research if I want to save money!0 -
That's why FU came out as the worst supplier outside of the Big 6 in the recent Which? survey. No free lunch, and no free laptop
