Does anyone have any of the £6 Lilac Clothing Vouchers, expiry date 25/03/06 which they would like to swap? If you do, please PM me. I have Clothing, Beauty and Toiletries quit coupons and other H&B which I can offer in return. Thanks.0

My daughter successfully used 2 of the £6 blue, 2 of the £6 Quit, 2 of the £6 lilc and a £10 lilac off a £60 clothes shop yesterday.........I told her it took a "bit of bottle the first time.
Today, through one item being £2.50 less than the ticket, she spent only £57.50(on womens wear)...but funnily enough, the till accepted the £10, 2x £6 Quit and 2 x£6 blue(menswear), and one £6 Lilac.
I would have expected the till to reject the other Quit and the other £6 blue, seeing as the second £30 wasnt reached.
She also got her "Dove" spa receipt as well, using a £2.50, £2, and 2x £1.25 Quit............................and 5 of my 50 pointers......
The guy on the till asked her if she had any more coupons, as he would take anything that scans.................I bet you he wouldn't have said that to her dad(me).......I told her to remember him, go back later, and find out what shifts he works...........lol
The £10 in the first line should have read £10 blue(not lilac), thanks poundsinbucks for spotting thisCouponing....."every little hurts"

Crumbs, are the £10 lilac ones that expired on the 11th March still going through the tills then, or is this a new set with different dates? Will have to rummage through the recycling box if the old ones still scan. Please let me know, thanks!🥳🥳 SW -6st 3.5lbs 🥳🥳0

Today..........Me(being her dad), and more experienced at this, got OH to spend £67 to makes sure there were no hidden reductions to knock the total down below £60 (clever eh)....................................well the thought was there............
When we put our stuff through, the till beeped at the second Quit one.......lo and behold when I totted it up outside, our £67 clothes spend had come down to £59(Dohhhhhhhhhhhhh)..........so this time the blue £10 2 lilac £6, 2 blue £6 and one quit £6 went through, and the other one beeped,.......(the £4 blue kids also beeped...not accepted)
and, on the beauty side we bought 4 Radox deodorants at £1.99 and 2 facial wipes at(supposedly) £1.49 bogof.........but the only coupons allowed was the £2.50 off £10, the £2 off £8 and 1 £1.25 Quit toiletry............the £1 off £4 were refused, as were the £1.25 Quit beauty, and one £1.25 Quit toiletry.
So Radox deodorants are toiletry only(apologies if someone has alreadt pointed this out)....and as I hadnt spent a tenner only 1 £1.25 was accepted.
5 x 50 points went through no bother.............on OH's card
The good news was the wipes as mentioned above, gave no bogof, and scanned as 2 at £1.90 each.............so going back tomorrow for "double the difference" refund......unless of course they read this first!!!poundsinbucks wrote: »Crumbs, are the £10 lilac ones that expired on the 11th March still going through the tills then, or is this a new set with different dates? ApologySorry Poundsinbucks......that should have read £10 blue

I always put my clothing through first and check the balance before the groceries come through by having a quick look at the display by the till. Last weekend it saw me rushing to the clothing section to get something else as it did not hit £60 but with the new item it did so I could use all my vouchers.

Hi All,
I wonder if you can give me some advice please, my mum has received some tesco clothing vouchers, blue ones and would like to buy some items. I said I'd have a look on the site for her because there's always great advice about Tescos, however having read about half way through the posts my eyes are closing and boy am I confused. LOL
You all seem to be talking about lilac and quit vouchers and ways of combining them to get great deals, it's a bit like a foreign language to me. So, I wonder if you would be kind enough to tell me the best way to do this and where I get these other vouchers, in language a novice Tesco shopping five year old could understand.
She's a pensioner now and I like to help look after her pennies for her, can't have her frittering away the inheritance! LOL
Seriously, thanks so much for any help you can give me!0 -

The lilac £6 is one of a pair of £6 vouchers which came out on the 1st of March, one of them is valid until the 25th, they are still available in some stores.
(Its an A5 folded leaflet with 2 x£6 coupons on it, lilac in colour, only 1 of the coupons is still valid.)
The Quit £6 has been available in stores in a "Quit smoking pack", some users are still managing to find this envelope in store, this £6 expires 31st.
(Its an A5 sized envelope (Red, black and white, i seem to remember) with "Quit" written on it..it contains lots of still usable coupons)
The blue clothing vouchers can be used together(except sometimes the £4 childrens), so on a £60 spend(on clothes), we are able to use, 1 £10 one, and 2 x£6(either mens or womens)..which is £22 off your £60, having the lilac and quit enables us to use 2 each of these, making £46 off a £60 spend, depending of course on whether the SA accepts them all.
We aim for a £60 spend, as that enables us to use 2 x £6 (off £30 spends), of whichever £6 coupons we have, and the £10 off £50. You can use the menswear coupons if buying ladieswear, and vica versa.
Your vouchers will be valid for a while, someone on here may be able to send you a couple of lilac or/and quit coupons, to use all together.
All of the above is dependant on the Sales Assistant, so pick a yound male student......weekends are the best.
Beware of getting to the till and not having spent enough due to items not being correctly reduced......you could lose more than one £6 deduction through being £1 under the £60.
good luck.Couponing....."every little hurts"
