Decking protection/Stain/cleaner

Hello there, I am having some decking installed over the next few days (just in time for the rain!) and will be staining/protecting/cleaning over the weekend. Could anyone recommend some good products please as I don't want to waste any money and have to re-do the whole thing again in a few months.

Got a couple of products in mind but would be great to hear from anyone here that might have used them and perhaps a good technique or formula of products?

I use Liberon Decking Oil, said to be one of the best protection treatments for decking on the market. The wood looks absolutely beautiful when it's done. Yip liberon is good stuff, been using it now for a few years, 5ltr does my 4m x 5m deck with some to spare, cheapest I found was toolstation , £26.94 delivered but catties link looks great if you buy 2, actualy bought it from there the first year I got my decking.

Do you have to remove old stain when you use Liberon. I have Ronseal decking on mine its waster based so sits on top is still fairly good condition as I only did it last year doesn't get much traffic
