UKCPS Hammered in Court Again

That sounds about right.Something like 31 PPC losses out of 40. Will dig out proper figures at some point. ...
I've fired off a FoI request to the MoJ, asking for the following:
a) Total money claims issued by BPA AOS members in 2011
b) How many of those proceeded to a hearing with a Judge
c) How many defended cases resulted in an award to the PPC
If I get any meaningful answers, I'll post them up here.
I have been providing assistance, including Lay Representation at Court hearings (current score: won 57, lost 14), to defendants in parking cases for over 5 years. I have an LLB (Hons) degree, and have a Graduate Diploma in Civil Litigation from CILEx. However, any advice given on these forums by me is NOT formal legal advice, and I accept no liability for its accuracy.0 -
Has anybody worked through the very impressive looking list of cases on their website?

Are any of the statements actionable? The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.

That link only shows the judgments, it doesn't tell us what the claims were for, or what defences were submitted.Stephen_Leak wrote: »Has anybody worked through the very impressive looking list of cases on their website?

As previously stated, if the defendants were saying that they didn't see the signs, or the signs weren't clear, that will more often than not go in favour of the PPC, unless the Judge takes the trouble to go and see them, as in the Excel Peel Centre case.
It's also worth noting that they've only shown a small number of cases which were defended, the most recent being Jan 2011. The second section of their list is all default judgments from Northampton CC, where presumably no response or defence was submitted.
I don't think any of their statements are actionable. People here say all PPC tickets are unenforceable, UKCPS say all their tickets create a valid contract. Neither statement is 100% true.

I wonder how many of the undefended claims will be paid, and how many were against gone away's.
I have two judgements in my office one for over £5K the other a little over £1.5K. Both unsettled, Just because you got judgement don't mean you will get paid.
Most people who don't defend are people who wont or cant pay! If they cant pay they may get a £1 a month, if their lucky.
I believe the Davey Weir case they won is being paid at £5 per month. So they will have their money in 53 Months.
Purely put up to try and scare people.
Think I may email Pete and ask him to put up the one's he has lost! Only fair innit??

He's a lying toe-rag. The cases he describes as "defended by people from a forum" were all default judgments as shown by the case no. beginning with 0. Probably issued against people he knew had moved.
But then, who expects a PPC to tell the truth.0
