Boyfriend being made redundant (again!!) will not be entitled to JSA Cont based...

...as he claimed this last time he was made redundant for the full 6 months then he found his current full time job. He claimed JSA Cont based from March 2010 - Sept 2010 so has not made 2 full years national insurance contributions to be able to claim this again.
Will he get JSA Income based? I work part time and earn £6,600 per year, does anybody know what the total household income limit is to receive this?

Hope this makes sense didnt really know how to word this!

Thanks

Unlikely that he'll get income based JSA as you earn more than the amount allowed for a couple. You would need to work less than 24 hours per week and earn less than £105.

Do check whether you might be entitled to claim WTC, housing support (LHA or HB) or Council Tax benefit?

The big problem being the 24 hour rule that just came in - can he get 8 hours anywhere?
