That's at the bottom of the automatically generated email you get a soon as you place an order. It shows the delivery option you selected.

    That isn't the same thing.

  • Does that notify me of when to collect my order? I think you'll find it does. Your managers at Tesco will be proud of you though!

No, that's what you WANT it to mean.

No, thats what it DOES mean.

No, the email you have received is the one referred to here:

14.1 Your order is an offer to buy from us. We will send you an order acknowledgement email detailing the products you have ordered and an estimated date for delivery or collection in store, as applicable. Please note that this email is not an order confirmation or an acceptance of your order by Tesco.

They are also covered by the wording of 14.2 and 14.4.

    All very clear.

When reading T&Cs, please read the whole paragraph and not quote selected phrases, as the latter will not help your case.

Please stop quarrelling. It's doing my head in!
  • I did read it all, how do you think I found it? We will obviously have to agree to disagree. FWIW I didn't post to start an argument.
  • My paint was delivered yesterday ! Many thanks to the OP
I ordered at approx 1.30 when the deal was quite new ... perhaps I just got lucky ?
