Just when I think I've found one I end up finding a bad review and I'm back to square one!
I've never had a pocket sprung mattress before, but I've read that even the firmer ones are not as firm as other types of bed, anyone got any idea about this? I don't want to go for something listed as medium when it is in fact more like a soft, if that makes sense?
Pocket sprung beds or mattresses but their very nature are designed so that you sleep "in" them not "on" them. So they will feel softer then most open coil mattresses.
Having a rock soild pocket mattress is a waste of springs and money, whats the point in having loads if they are going to move anywhere.
If you're worried about it being too soft, then do not buy from the internet, get in the shops and try the mattresses out. As most online companies will state that their mattresses are either medium, medium-firm or firm. Just as a cop out as firmness is such a personal thing. What feels hard to a 8 stone person may feel soft to someone who weighs 20 stone etc....Helping the country to sleep better....ZZZzzzzzzz0
