Why is it that you call this number, you get a long recorded message then have to go through lots of menus and sub menus pressing 1, 2 ,3 etc until you get to the woman saying i am putting you through, you get all excited just to then get the engaged tone.

Why not just have the engaged tone at the beginning rather than waste time and of course money instead of after the long and slow speaking recordings.

I understand they are busy today, but come on if your busy have the engaged tone straight away instead. :eek:

Because there are recorded messages depending on the options you press, and a lot of the time the messages will answer the initial query so no need to speak to anyone.

Because people phone for different reasons so there are different departments. So they have to have the options.

Also I'm sure they've added a new number 0300 instead of 0845? It's either free or cheaper.
