The item I bought on Saturday is being sold again!

Hi, please could you look at these two Ebay auctions:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/180858182256?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=330715412099

The first one, I bought £50 Buy it Now from "username A" in the north of England.

and the second one is up for auction again with the same pic and description, from "username B" from Wales!!!

What the hell is he doing?

I have already paid £50 for the item!

I have sent him a polite message to say I already bought it. At first I thought it was a case of just a stolen photo, but the description is the same too.

thanks

Could be a stolen photo and description. Easily done and I have had sellers do this for me too.

Wait to see what the seller says first.

So the second seller has copied the description as well?

I wouldn't worry people often steal descriptions and photos.

As long as you paid by paypal you are covered if it doesn't arrive.

    Thanks guys,

It does look as though a second seller has stolen the entire listing of the first, especially as the second listing was done on a mobile (which is what I'm hoping), but I still think it's bloody cheeky!

I knew the stolen photo thing went on, but the listing description states he doesn't know if the hard drive is a 160 or 250gb so if that is what happened, the second seller didn't even read the description!

    Well that was quick!

The second seller got back to me and said he was lazy and nicked the photo etc.

But he has changed the listing now - he's used the manufacturer's details instead.

And the original seller says I'll get my item - cool!

Well, I don't sell often but am definitely going to watermark my photos from now on!

    Sorry... BUT...

Blimey you paid £2 less than i paid for a brand new 500gb one.

They are old and no HD support. Harddrive format is FAT32. Limited codec support also.

Remote control used to drive me mad, It has to think what to do when you press a button. I sometimes wondered if i had actually pressed one.

Mind you with harddrive prices lately the 500gb IDE drive maybe worth more than the unit complete.
