Free Die Cast Car

I had a call from a life insurance company offering me a free model car without any oblication or catches. I gave them my details and 2 weeks later received a large 1:18 Aston Martin model which i was impressed with. It also included a policy with my details but no mention of any premiums.
I know there is a catch somewhere but have gone through the small print and yet to see one.
I have now received another call asking if I have received a car and would like me to give them numbers of friends or family who would also like the car. They also said that if I can provide them with at least 20 names, I would get an iPod !!
Is this a scam?
