I completed my first ebay sale to another country (Netherlands.)
Item was posted on the 14th March at a main post office via airmail and did not arrive until today (24th March). You see I emailed the buyer of the item at the weekend and received a reply on Wednesday that the parcel had not yet arrived! A later reply today (Thursday) confirming delivery made me feel much relieved.
I felt uncomfortable because I always email my ebay buyers after about a week from when I post the item if I have not heard from them or received feedback enquiring if they have received my parcel ok.
When I checked the Royal Mail website their performance for deliveries to Western European countries is about 2-4 working days.
Any one else have problems with late delivery on International posting?

Hi
I have sent a couple of items recently abraod (not ebay) and its a bit hit and miss..... some get there promply others longer. Yes, they say 2-4 WORKING days...therefore...you dont count the day its at the PO..... then comes the weekend and a week has gone gone past and its still counts as 4 working days!!!
(Does that make sense??)
