VetUk 10% discount code

I received an email earlier from VetUk offering 10% discount off all pet products - code PETUK10 (hope this might be useful) I am wanting to order some Drontal and Effipro but when I put the code in it says `coupon code not valid for any product in your cart`. I`m wondering if anyone might know if this doesn`t apply to worming /flea stuff, is this not classed as a pet product?
I`ve always purchased these items from our vet (didn`t realise I could get them online! silly me :rotfl:)
I know the code will only save us about £3 but every little helps, any ideas as to why it won`t work? Many thanks

I got that email too, the discount is only for PetUK products, which looks like the VetUK own brand.
Have you checked to see if your order is cheaper on other sites? Try Animed Direct, PetMeds or medicines4pets...0 -
Thanks for explaining, I thought it was everything. I`ve not priced it up on medicines4pets but VetUK are cheaper than the other two. I`ll check it out and if not order it tomorrow as its a lot cheaper than the vets.0

Yes pretty well every where is cheaper than the vets. I have used Vet.medics.com petdrugsonline.co.uk & viovet.co.uk I have a valid code for Viovet too you can get £3 off using this code VVRMPJZYU as long as you spend over £15. You don't actually need the voucher just the code.:)0

I find animedDirect cheaper than any other - before or after any codes/discounts.. and free delivery on everything all the time...0

Thank you both for replying, I ended up ordering from VetUK as they did come out the cheapest and I didn`t have any codes for discount.
Was impressed as I ordered Tuesday and the package arrived today.
I`ve ordered enough to last us until the end of September, but will check for codes etc before ordering the next batch. Many thanks0 -

Thanks for the tip. I will check them out next time I need to do an order.
Don't forget that you can also buy prescription only medication from these on-line pharmacies too. You have to ask the vet to write out a prescription (like ones you get from your own doctor) and then send it off when you do your order.
The snag is that the vet is now allowed to charge to write one out, so you have to off set that charge against any saving you might make. Last time I visited my vet I was charged just under a tenner for this, but as I own 6 cats, my orders are generally large enough that it makes it viable.0 -
Didn`t realise that, thanks.0
