Possibly ask them what documentation would be sufficient. I doubt that a threat to leave would worry them much.goodbuyer1 wrote: »Is there something else I can do...?

Received a letter from these dimwits which reads:
''I regrets to inform you that we are unable to assist you in this matter as we have not received sufficient documentation to prove that this service was misrepresented''.
So that's it?
Why not send them additional information to support your claim? A screen grab showing the length of the audio files, perhaps?
However, I'm surprised they didn't simply push through the chargeback and leave it up to the retailer to dispute it.
Having said that, personally I wouldn't have asked for a chargeback for this because I would have bought the audiobook for its contents rather than how long it is.0 -
If you've sent them everything you have then there isn't much more you can do really apart from taking legal advice. To be fair, Visa regulations are set by Visa International, not by the card issuers, are they looking at a chargeback or a Section 75 claim ?
What's missing from the audio book ?0 -

After my promise that I would leave, the card issuer wrote back that I am a valued customer etc, and escalated it to an investigation/complaint thing. The card issuer then wrote back asking me to show them where the audiobook is described as being 14 hours long (duh, in the title as I wrote in my first letter, dimwits), and to show them the company's policy thing (the seller who sold the item doesn't have any, at least I could not find it).
I'll just write back to the card issuer thanking them for the time I have wasted for nothing and assuring them that I will end my business with them at the earliest opportunity. They can stick the card up their backside.0 -

Depending how you cut it up, that could be very nasty!0
