Changing estate agents

Hi,
I would like to change my estate agent however have a tenant already placed. I don't have a signed contract, only verbal contract with the agent, I have a signed contract with the tenant. How easy is it to change the estate agent and would I need to find a new tenant or can I keep the same one?
Thanks,
OGUAE

if there is no contract you have no obligation to the agent, also it may depend on what instructions were given to the agent. If if you instructed them to only find a tenant there will be no problems, however if you instructed them on a management or rent collection service it may be more difficult but not impossible.

If you discuss this with the agents you intend to change to they will no doubt be eager to help
