Land In Palm Beach, Florida, Usa

Hi, I am new to this forum.

I have land in Palm Beach,Florida that I am looking to sell and invest in a property here as a first time buyer. I was wondering if anyone has any information regarding the procedures of land sale in Florida i.e reputable realtors, IRS procedures, what to look for/not, advisors in England, what the best way forward is and any other relevant information that may be of assistance to me. I know the laws are different in each state of USA.

I would be grateful for your comments.

Thank you

Floz

You need to seek professional advice in your case, it is a very niche question and there may not to be many armchair experts on here! Good luck.

Hi I own property in Florida. If you sell for more than $300K you have to pay a witholding tax I am pretty sure it is called FIRPTA try putting it in Google. You will get it back if you do not owe the US Government any money. I would also point out that nothing seems to be selling at the moment just in case you think you are doing it all wrong!

Hello P Bradley, Thanks for responding. Where is the best place to sell? I am looking at say $100K. This is all new to me. Or it maybe worthwhile building on it - do you know of any reputable builders in Florida?

    Many thanks
