Hi,
I want to have a web based database that is password protected for three people to have access to the information.
It could be in Excel or some other sort of database. Could anyone recommend the easiest way to set this up? It would need to be secure, due to the confidential data.
Many thanks...Gracust

well Excel is a spreadsheet program...
You might want to get a professional in on this. If it really needs to be web based (accessed from any net connection) then you might want to look at a php and mysql route.0 -
try Google Apps

You'll want to setup some sort of content management system.
Confluence is a cheap, and well supported paid for example. It's more of a wiki, but you can set user permissions and upload documents to it etc...
It really depends upon the data you want to store as to what system to use."Boonowa tweepi, ha, ha."0 -
Where are you going to host the web page?
You used to be able to get free hosts for an ms access database with 1 odbc connection (i.e. a single database), but if I remember correctly you can write asp code that will connect to access without odbc...
If you want something with more umph then hosts with mySql are quite cheap.0
