Just a hypothetical pondering, I'm hoping to buy a house one day soon when the debts are gone, probably be looking around the £75000 - £140000 mark depending on where we relocate to. I want to know approx how much we would have to pay in costs and what those costs would be for.
my fil is a conveyancer (
I don't really understand what this is, please explain if you can, and slowly, cos i'm new to this malarkey) and my bro is a mortgage advisor (independent, his own business) so hopefully they would do it for free or else face my wrath.
also, is it easy to get 4.5 x salary and/or 100% mortgages. I know they are not the best idea in the long term but the plan would be to get whatever mortgage we can at first and then move/overpay when circumstances improve.
Thanks for your help
