This is what I need!

Was just looking at my latest Zoo+ offers email and was wondering why anyone would spend £50, let alone £60 on a baby gate when I realised why .....

Perfect .... I can only get a baby gate on the bottom step of my stairs (funny bannisters ) and it's too high for wee cat to get over (dodgy knee).

Now .... would this come out the dog or cats budget :rotfl:

ETA just had a thought .....for anyone thinking of getting one, I'd recommend checking the size of the hole in case someone's head could get stuck in it!

It does rather seem to be tempting fate on the doggy front - I could see mine trying to shove her way through and getting wedged without a second thought.
Especially if there was a cat going "nah nah na nah nah" on the other side.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

Yup ..... realised that after I'd got over my initial excitement of seemingly finding a solution to a long standing problem.

My Frankie fits through the gaps in ours. He's still a kitten though so quite slim.
We have taken it away now but might need it back up, Kia has sneaked upstairs the past two mornings.

Tyson sneaks upstairs sometimes, although I have never actually seen him. Only ever seen the muddy paw print evidence!

A friend of mine has one of those, works very well with her big dog and her cats.

I got a regular gate from Argos - cats are clever enough to jump on top/over.

With the type on the photo, I would worry about Zara getting her head stuck in and walking around with the whole gate on her neck - as she does with the rubbish bin lead sometimes....

We had one that screwed into the wall and my albeit skinny cat crawled under it (about 6" off the ground).
