Frost damage - Pieris
This time last week my pieris was looking glorious - bushy, green leaves topped with abundant fiery red growth. This week; sad looking greenery and the new growth looks all wilted and brown.... Probably inevitable with that unseasonable warm spell followed by the snow.
What do I do? Leave it or should I prune out the brown bits?
Live in Scotland if that's any help (we have a saying ne'er cast a cloot till May is out translated as you can never be sure the frost is gone!)

I'd probably leave it until the risk of further frost is gone. Then you can see what permanent damage has been done, and whether it's going to die back further.
I've murdered several plants by pruning them on a warm day which was closely followed by a cold snap. (Patience is not my thing so now I tend to play safe.)
Mine's looking a bit sad at the moment as well (Midlands) although that's probably more to do with moving it in the autumn then having too dry a winter. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0
