Hi I am just at the end of the first year of an Mpharm course and I have just found out I am pregnant... I intend to just carry on with my course but was wondering if there is any benefits at all I may be entitled to claim.. I have one child already and I have been informed recently that I will be losing my Child tax credit as my partner earns over £26,000.. Will another child entitle me to claim it back?? Might I be entitled to the childcare element as my child care cost are going to more than double? Also has any one been able to get any help for this kind of situation from student finance or their university?

I don't know the answer to your question but you can check your benefits entitlement on here:

Good luck with your pregnancy and studying.0
