Barry Norman Film Quiz DVD , Vueathome & Lovefilm

I know I should have learnt my lesson from all the Lovefilm posts but I purchased a Barry Norman Film Quiz DVD from amazon because it stated that it came with vouchers for 4 cinema tickets for vue cinemas.

Upon arrival the 4 free tickets had to be redemmed via signing up to Lovefilm trial which I obviously had to do if I wanted to get my tickets. Id already signed up to there poor service but thought id sign up in my sisters name and address but make sure they couldnt wriggle out of giving me my tickets by meeting all there criteria.

I put approx 17 films in my rental list and recieved one which was promptly sent back then the account was cancelled as it was only a 21 day trial. I never received the tickets and after calling them was told I could not have them due to not puttign 10 titles into the rental list. I argued that i did but they said i only had 2 in the list. I rang Vue cinemas and explained the situation to them who fobbed me off by saying it was nothing to do with them they just give the tickets to lovefilm to give to the customers.

I feel totally cheated by both vue and lovefilm. Sorry for that long rant but i feel slightly better now I vented my frustration .:)

That's Lovefilm for you. If you cancel they send you vouchers that you can't use and who is going to give them to a friend when you cancelled because the service was so crap!
