Just wondered how long it took from offer accepted till completion date for you?
Agent is telling me 8 weeks for a leasehold flat. I was hoping for 6 weeks but obviously leasehold is more complicated.
It took 8 weeks when i purchased the flat.

Imagine someone holding forth on biology whose only knowledge of the subject is the Book of British Birds, and you have a rough idea of what it feels like to read Richard Dawkins on theology: Terry Eagleton0 -

My experiences have been a period of approx 12-14 weeks. The various sales/purchases have been as follows, Leasehold flat to leasehold flat & then leasehold flat to freehold house & then that freehold house to freehold house, all with no chain & sold to FTB's. It's never been less than 12 weeks from offer to completion. The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.
I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.0 -
took us six weeks when we sold our flat but we did exchange and complete on the same day0
