Chicago Airport

I will have to kill about 6 hours in Chicago O' Hare Airport shortly in Terminal 3 waiting for a flight to Manchester.
I have checked out the available lounges through Egg Card and the only one seems to be in terminal 2.
Please does anyone know the distances between terminals 2 and 3 and roughly how long to go from one to the other.

My experience last year wasn't too bad. They were doing lots of building work at the time so to get from the international part to the intercontinental there was additional security, queues and shoe-removing. Once you are in the International part though there are lots of book shops and news agents to kill time in. I recommend having a Chicago Hot Dog - very different than a New York 'dirty water dog' (which I happen to love with mustard and onions) - and absolutely delicious, if messy. I had a 5 hour wait too, and it wasn't overly painful. i was disappointed that a 5 hour wait wasn't long enough to leave the airport and get into Chicago proper. I would have happily taken a bus tour of some sort, but Chicago airport is some way away from downtown.
Now if you were flying out of Boston, you could do a full 'duck' tour of Boston and still get back to the airport in time!
good luck!laurmurph0 -

Takes 45 minutes to get into central Chicago on the Blue line which is in the airport, only cost $1.50 ew.
Enough time to stroll around the magic mile I would have thought and even a boat tour0 -
Few years ago we had few hours to kill in Chicago and we took the 'L' train into Chicago and visited Sears tower and had a stroll around. We'd checked our luggage in on arrival. Transit staff should tell you which station to get off In Chi and Sears Tower is just a few Blocks away. Have to say Having been to Chicago a few times the Navy pier is nice to stroll round if its a fine day.0
