Closing Accounts?

Hi,
I'm thinking of closing a couple or 3 bank accounts & credit cards to make my finances easier, a couple of the accounts have not been open very long, 3 - 6 months, I opened them with great intentions but it's too much work switching money around.
My question is would it effect my credit rating badly if I was to close them now after only being opened recently?
Thanks in advance.

No as long as you do not leave a debt on any of them.0

i would get the account you ARE going to keep up and running first.. swap over direct debits etc, then wind down the old ones.Long time away from MSE, been dealing real life stuff..
Sometimes seen lurking on the compers forum :-)0
