June Half Term?

Hi, has any one come across any bargains for the June school holidays? Were open to anything, aboad or UK, camping, caravan or hotel, anything! Obviously we would pay more for abroad, but dont have a set budget as such, we just want to get away!!!!!

I know its not likely we will find a bargain in the school hols, but any suggestions of fun places for the kids and I (4 and 6) would be appreciated!!

We are based in East Yorks!!

Where are you going?

What about a theme Park break? The premier Inn has a bank holiday sale on at the moment for dates that include the June half term and you could get Cobham for £19 family room per night from Monday 4 June to Thursday and it is a 15 minute drive from there to Chessington World of Adventures. KIds each breakfast free for each adult purchasing breakfast. Chessington World of Aadventures has a nice zoo with wildlife talks, sealife centre, Madagascar Kids show and rides. Your younger child would be free and you could use two for one tickets. They usually also do a deal whereby you can get bounce back tickets for the next day once in the park for a lot cheaper. There is also a train that goes from Chessington to Waterloo if you fancied going to see the London sights on a day trip. The London Eye is near Waterloo and you can also do a boat trip up the Thames to the Tower Of London from there. Also 30 minutes from Cobham to Windsor if you wanted to go to Legoland Theme Park or you could stay at Bracknell which is a 20 minute drive from Legoland and £19 per night for half terms Mon-Thur dates.

We are going to Duinrell in Holland, booked direct with them BUT we booked a long time ago and we still copped for for ferry going up £30 whilst we waited for next pay day to roll round -the number of times I've been caught that way..

Are Scottish schools having that holiday? They usually don't. Unsure about if they get the BHs. What about seeing if it's any cheaper there.

Yes, you really need to know when and where to get a good deal.

I got up at silly o clock to realise the sale was June to September - silly me, thats not going to get me a bargain break for June :o

Think they have added more rooms to Premier Inn sale as Chessington hotel has £29 rooms for the Sun, Mon and Tuesday of June half term just now, but did not when I checked for you orginally. If you have anywhere you fancy going may be good to check now.

Have a look at this post regarding Holiday Parks as there are still some caravan breaks in these parks available for the June half term Mon 6 June-Friday 10 June in East Anglia or Sussex and Kent regions at £15 per person with a minimum of 4 so £62.50 per break (including booking fee of £2.50) with entertainment passes and linen extra . A lot of the ones that may be nearer your area are gone for the June half term now.
