Does anybody have the Halifax reward current account, the one that pays £5 if you pay in £1000??
Is it that simple?? Does the £1000 have to be from your salary or can a bit be from your savings to make up the diference??
TIA :money:

I have one, I don't earn £1000 so I transfer the difference from another account and get the £5.00 every month
:shhh:I then put the money transferred back into the original account :shhh:

Yes, it is that simpleIt doesn't matter where the £1000 comes from or how it's made up, as long as you have £1000 go into the account over the month you will get your £5.
It doesn't have to be in a lump of £1000 either, if you have £100 (for example) in another account you can transfer it into the reward acct, transfer it immediately out then back in again, do this a total of 10 times and you're done.
What we do is, hubby transfers me £1000 into my 1st reward acct, I then transfer it into my 2nd acct, then immediately into my 3rd then back to him. The money is only in there seconds, so long as you have had £1000 go in in total you will get the £5.:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. I have my £1,000 from 3 separate sources with two always at least 5 days apart and it works fine for me.Truth always poses doubts & questions. Only lies are 100% believable, because they don't need to justify reality. - Carlos Ruiz Zafon, The Labyrinth of the Spirits0

Oh wow!! I'm assuming I can open the account online! Do they like do a credit check at all? Or refuse to open the account if you have a low credit score?!
I'm doing the application.. and why do I have to give such detailed account of my employment??Save in 2013: #166: 9,122.51/[STRIKE]5,000[/STRIKE] 10,000Interest earned in 2014: £257.61 20/04/140 -
It's a full current account, so a full credit check will be performed, hence the detailed questionsDebt free and staying that way! :beer:0
