Anyone had the PO £50 postal order?

Has anyone else taken out PO car insurance and been sent the £50 postal order it states you will get? How long did you have to wait?

I insured my new car with the Post Office tonight but I was confused that I didn't recieve any messages about the £50 PO. I was wondering whether there was anything else I should do in order to claim them. Maybe someone else has had success.

Yes. I renewed my car insurance earlier this month with the Post Office and saved around £60 on the best other quote I found. On top of that I was pleased to see the £50 Postal Order offer. I received it 3 days ago, about 2 weeks after I paid the premium.

Yes I must admit it was a very good price regardless of the cashback.

No I haven't had my £50 yet and it has been nearly 2 months!

When I phoned the PO a couple of weeks ago, they said it wasn't them that sent it, but the firm you took the insurance with through the PO. They said they would investigate and get back to me but still haven't, so I will need to chase them again tomorrow.

I am also waiting for my postal order, I was told it would be within 28 days of the policy starting ( poicy started on Feb 16th) will let you know when it arrives.

My £50 PO arrived today, about 3 weeks after I took our the insurance. All sorted.
