Sky, I just want to pay this months bill!!!!!!!

I have had to change my bank account due to the charges I am claiming back from the Halifax, and I have cancelled all my DD. I have set up almost all my direct debits back up with my new bank, but Sky's will not take effect until next month, so I want to pay them via my online bank, but when I call I have to wait ages on the phone, then I speak to someone in India who hasn't got a clue.

All I want is the sort code and account number of where to send the payment to, how hard is it to understand?

Does anyone here by any chance know the details I'm looking for. Thanks.

I would think your new bank might be able to help.

You should not use a sort code and account number if it were given on a public board like this one - it could be any fraudster's account.

If you get bills with a pre-printed payment slip on the bottom, that should have the details of the account number and sort code they use to take payments. I would advise you NOT to use any details you used with a direct debit, as apparently DDs and one-off payments go into different accounts (as I found to my cost when £100 went 'missing' in the ether after trying just such a short cut myself!!).
