Got a nice dark chocolate bunny for 99p in Lidl just. Only half price so it was pretty cheap in the first place...but it's rather tasty (and now half gone!)
They also had big bags of the little chocolate eggs, chocolate hens and a cheaper milk chocolate bunny (59p?). Hotel Chocolat sale has started online too but not as much as last year I don't think.Kate.0 -
I got the definite impression that stores had stocked far fewer eggs this year. I imagine they had the recession in mind, so expect fewer bargains.
Yes, I did as well.
Not an egg in sight at our Thorntons on saturday only some bunnies left.
Sainsburys had very little left as well and what they did have was going fast.0 -
I noticed Last year there were loads of eggs left over, especially creme eggs for weeks and weeks. This year not even that in Asda the Monday after. Makes me glad I'm lactose intolerant anyway at this time of year
less temptation.x 0 -

Not just that - people complain when Easter eggs go on sale too early (Cadbury Creme Eggs straight after Christmas) - but still leave it until the last minute to buy the things!
On another note, Hotel Chocolat' are now selling some of their Easter products at half price (on line anyway).0 -
When I went to her local Tesco with my mother there were seemingly hundreds of Easter eggs on special offer. Didn't see many ppl buying them tho0

All £1 easter eggs were 50p today in my local Asda.
Ended up getting legs of lamb (though from New Zealand) at £2-£3 a pop (got 4) and unsmoked gammon joints at £4-£5 a pop (about 2KG in weight each) instead.
Meat sorted for a while!

At work:
. Creme Eggs and Malteaster bunnies still full price (3 for £1 and 2 for £1 respectively)
We had a few Easter eggs at hp - the Tinkerbell Kinderton ones. The Lindt bunnies - all sizes were hp as well. I bought the final Lindor egg at hp as it was hidden in a box of Creme Eggs
. The Caramel bunnies, bags of Splats (egg splat chocolate shapes with Creme Egg fondant) were hp. 0
