At work we had only the £10.99 Mini Egg ones left when I finished work. Plus we had loads of the small filled eggs like Creme Eggs, Lindt Lindor eggs etc. They may be half price tomorrow. Stocking up on any Malteaster bunnies.0

Our Morries was cleaned out last night. Lots of confused late shoppers fighting over the last 4 on shelf priced at £9.99.

Asds reduced loads to 50p days before Easter. Mainly the cadburys caramel (with two caramel eggs) and creme eggs, smarties etc Bought loads most places aim to sell out before easter.0

My local Tesco still had loads left at full price and they are not open until Monday. What are the chances that they'll be reduced tomorrow?0

I got the definite impression that stores had stocked far fewer eggs this year. I imagine they had the recession in mind, so expect fewer bargains.0

Well, at least they weren't shouting at the assistants because there weren't any left, or arguing that there really must be some left in the back - which I experienced yesterday.cheerfulness4 wrote: »Our Morries was cleaned out last night. I had customers whinging at us saying 'Is that all you got?' when pointing out the 4 shelves of eggs, mainly the £6 Lindor ones and £10.99 large Mini Eggs ones. If I received a £ for everytime I heard that or phrases of that effect, I would be a very rich girl.
Then one customer said to me yesterday 'Are you getting a delivery of some more tomorrow?' I politely said 'No, as we are closed'0
