Recently opened an account with alliance and leicester and received a visa electron card (can't understand why as my credits not too bad at all)

So far only used it:

instore at makro

auslaender

No UK train website accepts VISA Electron. I guess same goes for airticket booking websites. Atleast ebookers does not.

However, National Express Bus service website does accept VISA Electron.

I have found that wherever takes visa on the high street takes electron now scince chip and pin i havent had it refused anywhere.

And between u both they are always being used

In fact on some of these there is a charge for using a visa debit card but not an visa electron card.

Yeah, Ryanair also do not charge a surcharge for Electron (but do for EVERYTHING else)
