DVD-R work in most DVD players
DVD+R work in some DVD players - but generally only newer ones
Of course you should NOT be downloading pirate TV shows or movies. Full Stop.
I therefore presume you are asking because you are downloading only films you are legally entitled to.0 -
Check on what your player can deal with. R- would seem to be the most popular though (I went through the same process, and came up with R-). Willing to be corrected though.

Yes st
As Zahc says above, you need to find out the info for your DVD writer.
The best place to read this is usually the manufacturers' website. You can use Google to find websites.
By the way, RW stands for ReWriteable. They come in both flavours, DVD+RW and DVD-RW.

If you open my computer and right click on your DVD drive it should tell you what model of DVD writer you have. You can then google it to find out the specifications and what discs you can use. I'd be very surprised if DVD-R don't work though.
BTW I think tesco have some on offer a the moment. It's my problem, it's my problem
If I feel the need to hide
And it's my problem if I have no friends
And feel I want to die0
