I'd recommend doing a search on venere.com - really helpful website with lots of good maps/reviews, and reasonable prices too (which you also don't have to pay in advance)
Plus for 4% off, use code: BK5HX8W

I think it's a good idea to check out this website even if you find hotels cheaper elsewhere, as the descriptions and maps are generally better than other sites in my opinion.

    Hope that helps

Pity 2nd of April is a weekday (Monday) as this is when London Hotels are expensive.

Weekends you can get good deals with the 5* Liverpool Street Hotel only £80+VAT per night Fri to Sun. Featured on Masterchef goes large.

Try https://www.londontown.com I always get good deals here. Weekend 5* prices through this site can be rediculously cheap you just have to touch lucky.

For the Holiday Inn Mayfair try booking through The Times who have a £85 per room per night deal going.

For good prices and location at the top of Park Lane try the Best Western Mostyn Hotel located in Bryanston St. only 3* but you get chocolates on the pillow etc. and a decent Indian restaurant to boot called Deya.

For top quality at a decent price in Marylebone try https://www.durrantshotel.co.uk located in George Street.

Don't eat hotel breakfast go to Fortnum & Mason Fountain Restaurant. It opens it's Jermyn St entrance at 8:30 and you get far better quality and service than you will for a similar price in a hotel.

try late rooms and cross check with trip advisor, I can usually find a room for about £80 that way.

6th is Easter weekend so high occupancy rates pushing up prices.

Best not be supersticious and go for Friday 13th April to Monday 16th April
