Don't know what a fine is for. Can you help?

Hi there, my wife this morninig recieved a further steps notice from Her Majestys Courts and Tribunals Service for £250 as she had failed to make a payment as directed

thing is she hasn't had any reminders of anything and to the best of her knowledge hasn't done anything to warrant a fine.

There is no further info on the letter to describe what she has allegedly done and she is a little worried about it and now with the easter break will have to wait until Tuesday to ask

Would anyone have any advice or any idea what this may be for?

thanks very much

Visit the court with the case number and ask for a photocopy of the disclosure file in full.

Is it even for a car ticket ? As mentioned details are needed.
Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?
