Is Cahoot as safe as any other UK bank to lodge savings into?

Hi there,
I am attracted by the savings rates offered by Cahoot and would be grateful for your opinions please?
1 is Cahoot as safe as any other UK bank for life savings of mine 50k?
2 my current bond where the money is, is due to mature on 29 april 12, is there a quick way if I decide to go with Cahoot (taking your opinin of it into consideration) so that it will be possible to transfer it easily from my current bank and to reach Cahoot without much loss of daily interest?

Cahoot is part of Santander so pretty safe.0

Had a current account with them since 2000 and been happy with that. No less safe than any other bank but remember if you have over £85000 savings that they are part of Santander so count any other savings with their other brands as part of the limit.Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0

A transfer of 50k can be done on the day if you pay them for it, arrange beforehand0
