No it's free for photos in your listing, although you still have to pay 15p if you use a Gallery picture.

is this right and does everyone else do it this way,i know its only pennies but if your a regular it would come to quite an amount after a while and photbucket seems a good service i use this on forums with no problem.
i am totally new to ebay regarding selling and buying so some questions might seem a bit daft:eek:

I've just signed up with Auctiva and enabled an "Ebay token", but it keeps saying it's an invalid token! I've tried twice with the same result. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

To be honest, I don't know.

I personally write the HTML for my listings by hand, so just use normal HTML links to my pictures. Hopefully someone else can answer your question though. :)

Yes, most regular sellers will either be using a free service like Photobucket, a more advanced (but still free) service like Autiva, or they will host the pictures themselves on their own Webspace (this is what I do).

There's no such thing as a stupid question, so ask away. :)

I use Auctiva too, am a new seller to ebay and a complete numpty at stuff like this, but Auctiva is great, even worked out how to do templates this week! Makes your auctions more eyecatching and professional looking. And the fact it's all free except for usual listing/gallery fee is great. Also the schedule function is great and again saves you a few pence.
I love this board, have "virtually" met so many lovely people, people I am honoured to count as friends.

Firefox, does it make a difference? I'm sure it said it was compatible

I upload photos to my photobucket.com account and copy and paste the generated html link from that into my eBay description. It's quick and easy and saves paying eBay for photos n the main description area of your adverts.

    Yeah Firefox should be fine.

I've had a look on the Auctiva help page and it does say that it is possible for the token to become invalidated. All it says to do is regenerate the token. Have you already tried this?
