Hi Guys, Bondy Lad asked me to post this as I had asked him about it. I parked in a Car Park 2 days ago and got a Ticket which i didn't see untill much later on the Windscreen.

It's from A Firm named Palmaris, the Bag which the notice was enclosed in Said " Penalty Charge Notice".
I have since discovered this is not Legal.

The invoice says the Registration, type of car,Date and Time Scored out and rewritten, and just a code with no address of where issued or which Car Park.

I am posting this so others who get one of these know that they are not legally Binding, which Bondy Lad made me aware of.

I think the Rules are the same in Scotland as they are in England regarding these people.
I have been informed to ignore the letters and anything else they send, I have photocopies of the Bag and Notice and may send to Trading Standards if Pushed.

Thank you again Bondy Lad.

Well, it's all a scam. But this sounds like its even more of a scam than usual.

Or could it be someone's idea of a practical joke?

Do not ignore a private parking ticket - from 2013 onwards things changed in England/Wales. If yours is Parking Eye then they are suing people and so are some other PPCs.

You must appeal and with current forum advice, you will win at popla - we win 100% of appeals in 2014.

Please click to page one of the forum, get off this old thread. See my signature below for where to click to read current advice. Please read the NEWBIES thread at the top of this very forum.

Its not a decision, its a refusal of appeal due to incorrectly presented case at lower court.
Not case Law, has no bearing whatsoever on anything.
each case heard on its merits.
