New to selling and one of my first buyers has not paid

I sold an item on the 31st March and sent the invoice, the same as i did for the other 2 items i sold that day. They are the first things i have ever sold on ebay so i'm a bit lost. 2 of the buyers have paid and left feedback and all is good, but the last one hasn't. I've had no email, or any other contact form the seller, i'm not sure what i'm supposed to do now. Advice welcomed:)

I'd send another invoice and a gentle reminder, then open a non paying bidder dispute on Tuesday if they still haven't paid.

As it's a bank holiday weekend, they might be away, so you need to give them chance to pay after a 2nd invoice.

Ok, i'll send them a gentle reminder and leave it for a few more days, i did think that maybe they have gone away for a couple of weeks, so i was thinking if i still hear nothing by this time next week, then i'll open a dispute.

I'd open an NPB sooner than next week, all mine are now opened on day 4 or 5 unless buyer has contacted me beforehand asking for longer to pay.

I opened a dispute yesterday for an item I sold on Saturday as I had heard nothing at all from the buyer despite sending an invoice and a message on Thursday asking if she still wanted the item.

Got a message back this morning:

I'm so sorry i haven't paid for these ***** ****** I've found something much better.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

Nice. And she's not responded to or closed the dispute, so I can't put them up for relist until Tuesday.. grrr

So yes, I'd open a dispute today

So yes, I'd open a dispute today

Buyer can't close an NPB unless she pays. However after 4 days you can close it and reclaim your FVFs and the buyer gets a strike.

If she responds to the dispute saying she no longer wants them, could I relist them then? I'd really like to get them readded this weekend if possible.

You could risk it as you could always cancel the new listing if buyer changed their mind and paid.

Maybe these viewers are interested in people's opinions on the subject as they may come across a similar situation themselves at some point, without having enough knowledge to give a helpful response...:)

well i viewed the thread to learn
whats the point of a forum if one isnt allowed to look in and read questions and answers
i suggest you go to the high court immediately,find the best barrister in the country have high tea with the queen while in the smoke and dont forget to go to arrods:D
