Is there a 6 month limit to getting the Financial Ombudsman involved?

The actual SW wording does say that they were purchased on the correct day. It's frustrating but they are the people who know the terms.0

Hmmmm....yes they do say that they are purchased on the correct day but every customer services operator i speak to says differently. Plus, as you can see in the annual statements, they say otherwise too.
Ps- Please can i ask why the Transfer value amount would differ in both annual statements? Not yet a total moneysaving expert...but im trying!!0 -
Other than knowing that first line customer service people don't necessarily know about all the complexities of a product I don't have anything to add.0

Dunstonh, please could i ask you to give an opinion of this?
Have you ever heard of a pension provider buying the units on behalf of the employer, sometimes for up to three months, whilst waiting for payment from said employer?
Thank you in advance.Not yet a total moneysaving expert...but im trying!!0 -
Hi,
Just (yet) another question:
I have now sent the annual statement showing the missing payments to the Pension Ombudsman. The statement was dated September 2011 and showed several missing payments for that same year and even one missing payment for late 2010.
Surely the Ombudsman service can not argue that even if the payments were made at a later date, my friend may still have suffered a financia loss for the market moving up in the period inbetween the dates the payments should have been made and when they were actually made??Not yet a total moneysaving expert...but im trying!!0
