I am so sorry if this is in the wrong section!
My DH and I won Sky+HD and Sky World package for a year and were wondering how long it takes for new movies to be on Sky Movies?
I know that DVD takes between 4-6 months-ish but wasn't sure about Sky? I know it's quicker for them to be Sky Box Office and I know that Sky Movies used to be about 12-18 months-ish not sure if it has changed since then?
Thank you.

How long is a piece of string
it depends who is distributing the movie there really is no hard and fast rule though , some don't get onto sky until after they have been aired on other channels. Generally too many people give sky their money(me included for sport) and thus they have a larger pot than most terrestrial channels to bid for movies. End of waffle

Nothing has changed really. Thor is available today for the first time on Sky movies. Its UK release was 27 April 2011, so a year for this one. I'm not sure how much earlier they are on box office. I refuse to pay extra so I never look.:D0 -
Still the same. This is from Sky web.
We show around 90% of the top 100 movies from the previous year at the cinema, along with hundreds of classic movies.Mansion TV. Avoid at all cost's :j0
