OK - without going into a long and boring story, it would be helpful for others to know that Homebase have had a problem with their online ordering system. When I checked my order on their 'order tracking' web page, it showed my item had been delivered, which was wrong. They knew about the problem but hadn't thought to update their website to inform customers there was a problem. In my case, this resulted in many phone calls, compounded errors, and broken promises, but I hope that now my order is OK.0

It's also about time MSE cleared up their act, they make it far too easy for people to delete/edit posts for a long time after posting0
