DoJoboutique.net (Scam electrical site or not?)

Any one dealt or know about his site? Paid £68 for 19" Toshiba TV with built in DVD? All the other goods on website are super cheap (yes I know if it's that cheap it's too good to be true!)
Paid through UKASH, but just found out that they are not an authorised dealer, and the voucher has been cashed.
If they are a SCAM site then I have been very stupid, but would like to find out whether anyone else have actually received goods from this company? Hopefully then other people will be warned if so.
My delivery date is the 12th April, so have my fingers crossed!:(:(
Thanks Kevin.

They are still answering my mails, probably what they do? I am normally the one who advises on this sort of thing! Your never to old to learn. If I do get the goods, then get onto the website and order? (don't hold your breath though!) Keep replying please, as if it is a scam then at least I'll go through the system and attempt to get them exposed.

Have paid and now they have asked for my passport details and so on... Trying to resolve it with the bank now although I have to wait wait for expected delivery date now. What they asked for, I refused!!
In order for us to protect our customers and co-workers and for security reasons we need to verify your identity for this order, please provide us with:
1) - TWO different non-expired, unaltered and clear copies from your Passport, Country ID Card, Driver's License...
2) - Any TWO copies of a recent proof of residence (bank statement, water bill, electricity bill, gas bill...) matching the address as registered in your profile
3) - A picture with you and your Passport or Country ID Card opened in your hands. Make sure that the photo will be high-resolution and clear, the picture must be taken close enough to show your face and data from the passport clearly.
Note: - The scanned documents must be in pdf or jpg color format.0 -
I'd be interested to learn what happens TechyLady. I too refused to send my passport copy etc.etc. so they replied as follows :
Dear customer ,
Thank you for taking time to e-mail us !
We only asked for the respective documents because we have had some problems with our orders and we want to make sure that everything is alright with the transaction and that the item is delivered at the right shipping address. This is our standard procedure of verification. Your details cannot be used in any other action or situation, not even for statistics or commercial purposes. If you do not agree you can cancel your order and ask for a refund.
Sincerely,

I also pointed out to them that they should never ask for this information because of the potential ID theft.
I also told them that this information was not stipulated as a "requirement" on their site. I told them deliver as they have contracted.
my order was not a lot of money, but its still money i really cannot afford to lose as i am disabled and have been out of work for 2 years ... just trying to get my act together to do some work from home. I really am so p***ed off with myself for this.
Lets hope i am wrong.
can anyone advise how we can get our money back from these guys?
all the best/Wrecked.0 -
They've stolen your money and you'll never see it again so forget about it.
The site is run by eastern Europeans, possibly Russians, Lithuanians or Poles. All the products are sold at unfeasibly low prices, eg a 40'' plasma telly for £190, and the only methods of payment are untrustworthy non traceable ones: evoucher, bank transfer or you phone up a (non traceable) mobile phone number with your credit card number. The rubbish about providing identification is so that they can commit identity theft ie take out loans in your name.
In a couple of months time they'll shut this website down, open up another one and continue the fraud with a new set of innocents.
