We're building a huge shed and the roof will be single pitch 8m x 5m
Trying to keep costs cost down :money: but obviously want it to be watertight and don't want to have to re-do it any time soon.
Have come across metal tile effect roofing sheets such as this http://www.rollaclad.com/single-skin-tiled-roofing-sheets.html which I could get for c £500
much prefer the look of these ones which are plastic http://www.smallplanettiles.co.uk/ourproducts.html but the cost is double
Which would you recommend?

I have used a few types of ally-tiles, on commercial buildings and as long as your use the self drilling screws, they are great. I would still use a breathable roof membrane under it, and BS standard 2x1 roof laths to make the job seal even better. The noise from the roof on the steel ones can be a bit loud depending whats under it.
The last sheets I used had a grit surface that looked even more roof like. The bigger pressed steel sheets can be bought off e-bay, bit more 'industrial' to look at, but possible cheaper.0
